Celebrating the Women Who Raised Us

Mother’s Day is a time to reflect on the women who have shaped us, inspired us, and filled our lives with love, lessons, and lasting memories. At Petite Keep, we’re all about preserving the moments that matter — and this Mother’s Day, our team is pausing to celebrate our own mothers, the traditions we treasure, and the special keepsakes we’ll hold onto forever.

Lindsay’s mom led with grit and grace — traits that have deeply shaped her outlook on life. “She’s the hardest worker I know,” Lindsay shares. “The way she shows up, with love and total follow-through, has influenced how I move through the world.” It’s a legacy of strength that lives on through every decision, every challenge, and every small, meaningful moment.

For Ashley, Mother’s Day is all about thoughtful tradition. “Since becoming a mom, we follow the theme of custom gifts — personalized 'Nana' or 'Mama' necklaces, or framed photos from our adventures together,” she says. This year, she’s planning to take it one step further: “It’s the perfect time to store those special keepsakes in her very own Petite Keep Trunk!”

To Lydia, her mom is the gold standard. “She’s the best mom and grandma — always thinking about her kids and grandkids,” she says. Whether it’s a spontaneous visit or a planned get-together, “she comes ready to play with the kids, and usually with a home-cooked meal, too!”

Recently, her mom passed down a collection of her baby clothes she had lovingly saved. “It was so sweet to look through them,” Lydia recalls. “I stocked up on acid-resistant Petite Pouches to store them in my Trunk so they’re safe.”

For Emma, her mom is more than a mother — she’s her confidante, mentor, and lifelong best friend. “She’s my biggest cheerleader and constant supporter,” Emma says. Their favorite tradition? A mother-daughter girls’ trip every year. “We explore a new city, share drinks, enjoy great food, and laugh until our cheeks hurt. It’s a tradition we always look forward to, and one I hope we continue for years to come — no matter how busy life gets.”

Maura’s sense of style didn’t start in magazines or Pinterest boards — it started at home. “My mom's elegant but approachable style definitely shaped my own taste,” she says. “I see her influence across my personal style, from tablescapes to dressing for special events.” Whether setting a holiday table or picking the perfect dress, Maura often finds herself guided by one question: “WWBD—What would Beth do?”

 

This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring the thoughtful traditions, the heirlooms passed down with love, and the joy of creating new memories together with our mothers. Whether it’s a Trunk full of keepsakes, a handwritten note, a yearly getaway, or a home-cooked meal — these are the memories in the making that we’ll hold onto forever.
