Behind the Scenes of My Shark Tank Adventure

Walking onto the Shark Tank stage was surreal! My husband and I have watched every single episode across the years. We moved six times in our twenties and we always said our only constant was a glass of wine with Shark Tank on Friday nights! To come full circle and pitch Petite Keep to the Sharks was truly a pinch me moment.

Leading up to Shark Tank I knew I had good jujus on my side. A coworker and friend from years passed had sent me a box of hand me downs and there just so happened to be a onesie with Sharks on it AND embroidered with my son’s name. The onesie fit baby Rodeo like a glove - it was perfect! I couldn’t share anything about Shark Tank with Abby since I was under major secrecy, but it surely felt like a God Wink that I will always cherish. 

Speaking of God Winks, when I walked into the Tank (eek!!) - the Sharks themselves were coincidentally rocking Petite Keep blue! Whether it was their outfits or the subtle set details, that signature hue seemed to be everywhere, as if the whole scene was tailor-made for our brand. It was one of those little moments that felt too perfect to be random, a fun affirmation that we belonged right there in the Tank.

What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible support from the Shark Tank team and the entrepreneur community. From start to finish, the energy was electric, the camaraderie was real, and the excitement was absolutely contagious.

It wasn’t just a pitch; it was a celebration of grit, creativity, and big dreams. I walked away feeling so grateful and inspired—not just for the opportunity but for the joy of being part of such an uplifting experience. What a ride! More to come after our episode airs!
