The holidays have arrived, bringing good spirits, great food, and some of our Team's favorite traditions of the year! Now that you've personalized a Trunk for everyone on your list, it's time to tie on your apron and head to the kitchen! Below we are diving into some sweet (and salty) foodie favorites that our families love this time of year.
Chocolate Chip Balls
This special recipe is from our Founder and CEO Lindsay's family archives! With four little girls and plenty of holiday spirit, this simple recipe is fun for getting the whole family involved, and delicious to boot!
3/4 Cup Margarine, softened
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 TSP Vanilla
1 3/4 Cup Flour
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Combine first four ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Roll dough into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar after removing from oven.
Our Marketing Manager Morgan loves this no-bake, sweet treat! With only five ingredients, Christmas Crunch is the simple way to get your littles involved in holiday "cooking" this year. Click the link above to view the full recipe!
Not a cake, not a pie, yet somehow the best of both? These Gingerbread Whoopie Pies are a favorite at our Creative Director Clara's house during the holidays! Plenty of icing and just enough ginger make this recipe fun for the whole family.
These bite-sized, almond classics remind our Marketing Manager Maura of her grandmother! Her favorite part? Using the cookie press to create whimsical shapes for the most festive season of the year!
It simply isn't the holidays without a real Christmas tree and Gingerbread in Ashley, our Customer Experience Manager's, house. These perfectly spiced cookies are a favorite from everybody's favorite TV icon Ina Garten!
No matter how you choose to celebrate with sweet treats this holiday season, we hope you enjoy time with your family and friends! Happy Holidays from Team PK!
