How We Brought PK Passport to Life
A look behind the scenes at our first customer-built PK Signature Print
By Clara Peloquin, Senior Director of Brand
Last September, we gathered a group of PK customers in Charleston for our first ever ‘PK in the Palms’ Brand Trip. The goal of the week was simple — to connect, to create, and to bring our customers deeper into the world of Petite Keep. One of the working sessions we hosted during the trip was called PK Product Lab, where we invited customers to step directly into the creative process with us and help shape the future of a PK Signature Print.

We finished that session by inviting guests to form teams and build mood boards centered around one question: if you could dream up the next PK Signature Print, what would it look like and why? Each team presented their concept, sharing both the visual inspiration and the story behind their ideas, and we held a blind vote to determine which direction would move forward.

Something that quickly became clear was that more than one team gravitated toward a travel-inspired concept. There was a shared desire for a print that could hold travel memories — whether that means adventures taken independently, milestones experienced as a new couple, or family trips that become lifelong traditions. It was exciting to see this theme emerge organically from our community, and it reinforced just how meaningful the idea of savoring memories made together really is for our customers.

Over the following months, we worked through multiple creative iterations, continuing to involve all of our brand trip participants. Together, we explored color palettes, iconography, composition, and naming, refining the print through ongoing feedback and collaboration. They shaped not just the aesthetic of the print, but the emotional tone behind it, which ultimately led us to what became ‘PK Passport’ — a print inspired by adventure, connection, and the new memories collected along the way.

At Petite Keep, our first core value is Customer Obsessed, and this project brought that value to life in a way that felt so magical. PK Passport is more than a print; it’s a reflection of what happens when we invite our community into the creative process and truly build alongside them. That collaboration made the process just as meaningful as the final product itself.
PK Passport belongs to our community just as much as it belongs to us. The customers who helped bring it to life will always know they played a part in its story, and we hope everyone who sees or owns it can feel that shared creativity woven into the design. For our team, this experience reinforced something we believe deeply — the best ideas come from creating with our customers, not just for them.

As we launch PK Passport, we’re so excited to continue exploring new ways to involve our community in the future of Petite Keep. This print is a celebration of shared experiences, meaningful memories, and the incredible creativity that happens when we come together.
