When did you start So Then They Say, and what's your favorite part of running your brand?
I started So Then They Say in 2011 with my best friend. After a few years we both stopped it and I officially started back up in 2015 (I believe). My favorite part of running my brand is introducing people to other small businesses. I come from a family of entrepreneurs so I know all of the hard work that goes into starting a brand. I love that I get to discover these businesses that have such heart behind them and share them with anyone who follows me. I also love that I have full control over what I post. I do this as a fun side project so I get to say "No," more than "yes" and I get to share only things I love and am passionate about.
Favorite meal, dessert, or cocktail?
Meal: currently, sushi.
Dessert: Currently, an olive oil sunday from Il Bracco. Trust me, I know it sounds weird but it is heaven in a bowl.
Cocktail: Espresso martini or a nice glass of champagne
How would you describe your personal style? Who are your personal style icons?
Classic. Style Icons: Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, Marge Duval (played by Gwyneth Paltrow), The women in Slim Aarons photos, and so many more but you gather the idea.
What do you keep in your PK Trunks for your girls?
The outfit they wore home from the hospital, special cards or gifts that were given to them, photos, and very special artwork they have created.
What is your idea of #PKinspo and staying inspired daily? How do you stay inspired?
I look around. There is so much to admire and be inspired by if you just look around you.
