Matching jammies, beautifully chaotic (!!) Easter egg hunts followed by lots (and lots …) of sweets, a very festive brunch, and time to reflect and give thanks at Easter Mass make up our Mullenger Easter traditions. These traditions bring my family and me such joy and gratitude year after year!
Morgan, Marketing Manager
Each year, my family starts the day at our church’s outdoor Easter Service. It is always such a beautiful, peaceful morning and this year will be extra special as we will be celebrating my son’s dedication that same day! I’ll host my entire family for Easter Brunch and we’ll end the day with an egg hunt at grandma’s house.
Clara, Creative Director
Every year we throw a big Easter egg hunt for all our family and friends. Everyone brings their favorite celebratory dish to share, we put up a bounce house, do egg races and have fun in the sun!

We begin our Easter Sunday with Mass, followed by brunch with family and all the holiday fixings. Ham, deviled eggs, all the yummy sides, and let’s not forget about carrot cake! To burn off that Easter feast, we gather the kids for a backyard egg hunt! The rest of the day is celebrated with egg dying and opening basket goodies.
Maura, Marketing Manager
Easter morning begins with a quick check of the Easter Baskets (and a few Reese’s eggs) before heading to Mass! Then, the whole family gathers for an Easter egg hunt and charcuterie cocktail hour, followed by a big dinner! This year’s menu includes my Dad’s deviled eggs, my uncle’s Texas-sized Brisket, and my grandmother’s homemade coleslaw. My younger cousin Baedyn is an excellent baker and creates an adorable (and delicious) bunny cake too!
Athena, Operations Manager
Every year, we begin our Easter by attending the Holy Week services at our church followed by a big & festive Mass on Easter morning. Everyone gets dressed up from our shoes to the baby’s Easter Bonnet! After mass, we have a full Easter brunch with my husband’s family followed by an egg hunt for the kiddos. Easter morning, the kids wake up to their filled baskets on the fireplace hearth and after our brunch they can’t wait to come home and play with all of their new goodies. We also try and make it a point to go and have our photos taken with the Easter bunny every year! Love to be able to look back on those memories year after year to see how much our kids have grown!

One of my favorite Easter traditions is egg decorating! We love experimenting with the dyes to get vibrant color combos. On Easter we gather with our extended family and the kids have a big egg hunt! There’s always a prized golden egg with extra goodies (or cash) inside!
