#PKinspo Dads In Pop Culture

With Father’s Day coming up on Sunday, we wanted to share some of our favorite dads in pop culture!

Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air stepped in to Will’s life when his mom sends him to Bel-Air after a fight on the basketball court. He quickly becomes protective over his nephew, taking the role of the father-figure Will never had. “He wasn’t there to teach me to shoot my first basket, but I learned, didn’t I?” (The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. S4 E24: Papa's Got A Brand New Excuse)

Arthur Weasley from Harry Potter steps in and becomes a father to the fatherless. Orphan, Harry Potter was left to be raised by his aunt and uncle who didn’t support his wizardry. With arms open wide, the Weasleys welcome Harry in, despite having 7 children of their own. He teaches Harry everything about the wizarding world that James Potter never got the opportunity to.

Phil Dunphy from Modern Family knows how to make a serious moment a little more lighthearted. He is so caring and easy to relate to. His main priority is making his family feel happy and loved.

Marlin from Finding Nemo, the persistent father. He will stop at nothing to get his son back, making friends along the way. Marlin’s character paints a beautiful picture of a love that knows no limits. "His son was kidnapped, and he fought the ocean to find him." –lastwarrior81

Danny Tanner from Full House was dealt a difficult hand when the death of his wife left him a single dad to three beautiful girls. Just like the rest of us, he gets by with a little help from his friends. It takes a village, after all.

It is the undying, unconditional support of fathers like these that give hope and life to the younger generations. For all of you dads, dads-to-be, and those longing to be a dad, we honor you, today and every day.
